Alexis Kushner is a San Francisco and Mill Valley native who has built her career the way she's built her life: by staying curious, embracing change, and never being afraid to be a beginner again. Her career tells the same story. After graduating with honors from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Global Studies, Spanish, and Dance, Alexis spent a semester studying abroad in Barcelona before heading to The Hague as a Foreign Service Intern with the U.S. Department of State. Back in the Bay Area, she ran events for a nonprofit think tank, then returned to Mill Valley and her first love of dance to manage RoCo Dance. Each chapter was purposeful: a deliberate choice to grow, to learn, to build something more aligned with the life she envisioned.
That drive took her back to school. She came to the University of San Francisco's MBA program with plans to open dance and fitness studios, but studying entrepreneurship in the Bay Area has a way of pulling you toward tech. Alexis spent the next 15 years as a B2B product marketer, working across startups before a decade-plus at Salesforce leading product marketing. Along the way she became a Certified Professional Coach, adding something most marketers and most realtors simply don't have: the ability to help people get clear on what they truly want, and the courage to go after it.
Real estate, it turns out, is the perfect synthesis of everything she's built. It was also always in her DNA. Her father ran Kushner & Co., a commercial real estate financing business, and Sunday open houses and property tours were a family tradition. She's been thinking about homes her whole life. She just didn't know it would become her calling.

As a homeowner and single mom, she brings her whole self to every transaction.
