San Francisco is one of the most exciting, and one of the most competitive, places to buy a home in the country. The neighborhoods change block by block. Inventory moves fast. Pricing logic isn't always logical. And the difference between landing your home and losing it can come down to the realtor walking the process with you.
I'd love to be that person for you. Here's what I bring to the table.
I'm a San Francisco native
I didn't move here for the views. I grew up here. I know these streets, neighborhoods, and communities the way only a local can: the quiet corners of the Inner Sunset, the microclimates of Bernal Heights, the foot traffic patterns of Hayes Valley on a Saturday morning, the school catchment lines that don't show up in any listing.
Buying in SF isn't just about square footage and zip codes. It's about the feel of a block, the trajectory of a neighborhood, and whether the place that looks great online actually fits the life you want. That kind of read takes real local knowledge, and I've been building it my whole life.
I come from tech marketing, and it shapes how I work
Before real estate, I led marketing at tech companies. That background isn't a sidebar on my resume; it's the way I show up for clients. I bring sharp attention to detail, a high bar for professionalism, and a sense of urgency you don't always find in this industry. At Salesforce, creating amazing customer experiences was paramount. Attention to detail was critical, from the smallesst of marketing efforts to macro-events like Dreamforce. This picture is from a few years ago when I was the area lead for the 2nd floor of Moscone West. This meadow was a labor of love, and the crowds loved it.
In practice, that means well-prepared offers, clean paperwork, fast follow-through, and clear communication at every step. When a listing drops on a Wednesday and offers are due Friday at noon, you don't want a realtor playing catch-up. You want one who's already three steps ahead. That's how I run my process.
I make this fun (I promise)
Buying a home is stressful. There's no avoiding it entirely, but there's a real difference between stressful-and-miserable and stressful-and-actually-kind-of-fun. I aim for the second one.
I bring collaborative energy and a sense of humor to this work, the same energy I've shared with this community for years. We'll celebrate the wins, laugh through the weird showings, and stay grounded through the hard moments. Real estate is a relationship business, and I want this to be one of the best partnerships you have.
I work with Vanguard Properties, and that opens doors
I'm proud to be part of Vanguard Properties, San Francisco's leading boutique brokerage. Choosing a boutique firm over a national chain is a deliberate move. It means deeper local relationships, more personalized service, and a network specifically wired into the SF market.
Through Vanguard, I have access to off-market listings and pocket inventory that never hits the public sites, trusted lender connections that move quickly when timing matters, and a network of agents I can pick up the phone and call. In a market this competitive, that network is often the edge that gets a deal done.
I'm a straight shooter
If something is overpriced, I'll tell you. If a property has issues we should walk away from, I'll tell you. If your offer needs to come up to compete, I'll tell you that too. You'll always know exactly where you stand on price, timing, and the trade-offs in front of you.
A lot of people in this industry hedge to keep the deal alive, to avoid an awkward conversation, to look good in the moment. That's not how I work. The job is to help you make the best decision for your life, even when the honest answer is the harder one.
I've been the buyer, too
I've bought a home in San Francisco myself. I know what it feels like to refresh a listing site at midnight, to write the offer letter, to wait on the call. Buying here is hard. You deserve someone in your corner who's been through it, knows the playbook, and treats the process with the seriousness it deserves.
(Me and my son, as we officially got to take down the for sale signs after closing escrow.)
